The Art of Tea

The original recipe of this herbal tea blend dates back to the 10th century. The Sanahin monks brought it with them when they left the Byzantine Empire in 930-940AD and kept it as a sacred blend. This herbal tea is made from linden blossoms and elder flowers, it’s good for digestion and improves memory through relaxation and lifts ones mood. As mentioned in manuscripts, King Smbat Bagratuni was stung by bee and recovered only after drinking this infusion that the monks of Sanahin had devised. After his recovery he pronounced this as a royal infusion and since then it has been called “Royal Nectar”.
